What the product does

The application stores a workspace for AI-answer measurement and go-to-market notes. It sends tracked questions to configured AI answer engines and saves the returned answer, citations, engine, and time.

Those API answers are not copies of what a person sees in a consumer AI chat app or in search. AI Overviews are stored only when someone enters an observation by hand.

Information the application stores

Account email and name come from Clerk. Workspace content includes company name, website, tracked questions, pipeline notes, audit checklist rows, Markdown deliverables, and optional Answer Boost spend notes.

Scan evidence includes the question text, the answer, citation URLs, and which answer engine responded. Do not put secrets or personal data into tracked questions.

Processors

Cloudflare hosts the application and database. Clerk authenticates sign-in. Stripe is read by the internal HQ console when a secret key is configured; this application does not itself complete a purchase.

When an answer-engine key is configured, question text is sent to that engine. Each request follows that engine's own terms. Keys are stored as Worker secrets, not in the database.

Retention

Workspace records stay until an operator deletes them or the workspace is removed. A specific retention period for workspace content is not automated yet. Victor needs to set that period and a deletion process before this draft is published as policy.

The free snapshot has a shorter automated schedule, described in the next section.

Free AI visibility snapshot

The free snapshot reads one public web page the visitor submits and sends drafted buyer questions to the configured AI providers. It stores the page address, the drafted questions, the returned answers, a score, and, when the visitor asks for the full answers, an email address plus a consent record.

The visitor's IP address is not stored. A salted hash is stored so the same network cannot start unlimited snapshots. Cloudflare Turnstile checks the form. Turnstile is a Cloudflare service and receives the browser token for that check.

An anonymous snapshot with no email is deleted after 30 days. A snapshot lead, including the email, is deleted after 12 months. Snapshot event rows are deleted after 13 months. Those deletions run on the application schedule even when new snapshots are turned off.

Advertising log

Answer Boost stores dates, channels, dollar amounts, and notes that an operator types. It does not connect to an ad platform. Accepted channels are a fixed set of paid ad products, including ads that can show with AI Overviews. Not every answer engine is an ad channel.
